    Music
    -All music now has increased quality.

    Sound
    -All sounds now have increased quality.
Yeah, it might not sound all that special, but it's something.

Probably not, I think they just replaced most of the .wavs and .mp3s with higher quality.

I dunno about this. Though, I'm certainly going to download it just to have all graphical and sound fixes (replace the old folders), but that's pretty much it.

I am quite unimpressed. It' s like they just suddenly decided that it was okay that they could mess with the SMBX package and decided to do common sense things like make the sound and graphics better.

I for one am excited about this! I mean, the update may be minor, but at least somebody's making one at all.

If this doesn't turn out well for whatever reason, though, whatever.
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

For vanilla SMBX, yes. For A2XT/A2MBXT, this just wants me to get Episode 1 out faster. I'll probably implement some of their fixed graphics, but don't feel like bothering kil, even if they do add in a few extra slopes.

I think it wasn't necessarily "bug" fixes but more along the lines of graphical changes, as the ones that were listed don't look right in some cases.

Guys, if it isn't clear already:

There is no playable Samus or new Yoshi.
There are no new tiles than what are already in game.
Only graphics were edited in order to fix graphical issues with the game.
Sounds and music files were replaced with higher quality versions.
There are no bug fixes.


So you can think of this as not a content update but as a quality update.
The main purpose was to change the urls in the game and editor to reflect the new site as well as fix some small problems such as the SMW beach koopas not having the correct graphics.
Well, I guess this answers that.

Er... where was this even hinted at that people would think it's the case? Or was it just rampant speculation?

At least a quality fix-up thingy is nice.

Hmm, okay... I suppose this is kind of interesting. Not exactly anything to get worked up over, but new stuff is rarely a bad thing.

EDIT: Quick look, and the only real graphical difference I see is the SMW cave sizable was made darker, and they replace the sMB3 purple box and snow brown hill sizable with a water rock and snow green hill sizable.

Oh - so there's absolutely no reason to abandon LunaDLL - that's good. Because that thing is kind of amazingly cool as is.
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

Yep, no reason to abandon LunaDLL. This update doesn't change the EXE at all save for some replacements of hardcoded graphics and a redirect to the new splash screen - the rest is just redoing external files like sounds and music, as well as including The Princess Cliche as a default episode.
