One thing I remember about this hack is FPI likes sections that require a fireball, sort of like Temple of Doom today. I know there are a few other levels that use a similar gimmick in less infuriating and more varied ways, but it's still an annoying gimmick, especially savestateless.

You know, I really can't wait for raocow vs. Hotel Horror, even though that's not for a while.

Since the top and bottom halves don't interact with each other, he could have put a midpoint at the bottom half. I was really surprised that you got the Lost Woods secret path on your first try, because I remember it taking me forever to get past that one Charlie. The timing on those platforms is just ridiculous.

I would say that Mario's backyard was a zoo for all of his captured enemies, except there were no cages

Anyway, that was a brilliant level, and if I remember correctly not many levels get that long until the very end, so you should consider youself lucky

I just played through this hack a couple of days ago. It's really nice , and rao's commentary was top-notch today.

Episode 6 - Sky Garden? Nah

If any of you guys are watching, I'd really appreciate comments/feedback, either here or on Youtube. I'm really trying to improve and build up a bit of a fan-base, and your suggestions would really help.

Rise to the Challenge was the first full one I watched. I also believe it was the last Mario hack he did with savestates.

Concisely, I like easy hacks, because I'm terrible at Mario ._. Essenially this. I need save states to get past anything above the difficulty of the original SMW, and let's be honest, that game was freaking easy. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy harder hacks, but I can't enjoy them like I would...sa...

I must say, I loved the ghost houst segment, just because of the "storage" that the guy added throughout the level. I thought it was very clever.
